We are pleased to announce the strengthening of our credit team through the appointments of Ben Lynch as Senior Director, Credit, and Benoit Fesquet as Associate Director. Both Ben and Benoit will report directly to David Jerrard, Precede Capital’s Chief Credit Officer.
Ben joins Precede Capital from Kinetic Capital, where he was Director of Credit. He previously worked as Director, Credit at Urban Exposure Plc and has also held roles at Pluto Finance, OakNorth Bank, Santander, Clydesdale Bank and HSBC. Ben has built a strong track record of credit underwriting, due diligence, deal execution and portfolio management of loans across the residential, hotel, retirement living and purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) sectors.
Benoit also joins from Kinetic Capital, where he worked as a Senior Associate. With over a decade of experience in real estate finance, he has previously held positions at Urban Exposure Plc, CBRE and GE Real Estate.
Ben and Benoit’s appointments bolster a Credit team with significant experience of structuring capital for a wide range of real estate assets and underwriting large, complex transactions. Since launching in March 2021, Precede Capital has originated and arranged loans in excess of £1.26bn.
